VYKA acts with ethics, transparency and respect for the law. This page summarizes the principles that guide our conduct, including in relations with the public sector.

Ethics and integrity

We do not tolerate corruption, fraud, bribery or conflicts of interest. We comply with the Anti-Corruption Law (Law No. 12,846/2013), regulated by Decree No. 11,129/2022, and the Administrative Improbity Law (Law No. 8,429/1992, as amended by Law No. 14,230/2021). No employee or partner may offer, promise or accept an improper advantage.

Working with the public sector

In partnerships with consortia, city halls and other public bodies, we respect the Public Procurement and Contracts Law (Law No. 14,133/2021), the contract and the rules of each entity. We report on what is done, with records and indicators of the consultations, and support the transparency required by the Access to Information Law (Law No. 12,527/2011), where applicable.

Data protection

We process personal data in accordance with the LGPD, with respect for the privacy and private life guaranteed by the Federal Constitution and for data protection as a fundamental right (Constitutional Amendment No. 115/2022). The Federal Supreme Court recognized this right as autonomous (ADI 6387, 2020).

When personal data is shared within the public sector, the sharing must have a legitimate, specific and explicit purpose, limited to the minimum necessary, an understanding established by the Federal Supreme Court in the judgment of ADI 6649 and ADPF 695 (2022). Our processing follows these parameters. See the Privacy policy.

Health and telehealth

Video care follows Law No. 14,510/2022 (telehealth), CFM Resolution No. 2,314/2022 (telemedicine) and the rules of each professional council. Each professional is responsible for their clinical and ethical conduct and advertises their services according to the rules of their council. VYKA does not promise treatment results or interfere in clinical decisions.

Suppliers and partners

We expect the same standard of integrity and data protection from our suppliers and partners. Processors that handle data on our behalf assume a duty of confidentiality and security.

Inclusion and accessibility

We work to make the platform accessible to everyone, in line with the Brazilian Inclusion Law (Law No. 13,146/2015, art. 63), which addresses the accessibility of internet sites.

Ethics channel

Questions, suggestions or reports can be sent confidentially to [email protected], with the subject “Ethics channel”. Anyone who reports in good faith suffers no retaliation. Each report is received, analyzed impartially and, when appropriate, investigated, and we tell you the outcome whenever possible.
